I was told the sprinklers would be fixed and I saw them working on them. With in a couple of days I started to see brown spots and contacted Jesus who said he would "stop by to take a look". That was Saturday (7/21) and I have not heard back since even after several messages. I got him thru one of these groups and I am sure with how quickly he replied to get the job that he would see this and resolve the issue. I don't know what else to do I paid over 4k for the new sod and its dying and already looks terrible. The job looked fine other then some gaps in the spacing when he was done which i went and tried to fix myself but it almost instantly started dying. The gaps would eventually fill in I assume but this dead sod looks too far gone already and probably has to be replaced.It is the small pieces of sod (seemed to cut out a ton of small pieces to fill in these spots instead of using the large pieces which have been thriving) I waited and did not want it to come down to this I know sod can be picky and needs time to root but this is ridiculous and there is several sprinkler heads that are not working which were just fine prior to the sod being laid out , the heads are set too high and spraying Over the grass around them. The grass is green in other spots so the watering I am doing is fine its just around the sprinklers that is the issue. These were supposed to be repaired at the time of install. I am going to end up in small claims court, reporting him to the BBB and also reporting him for working without a license since that would appear to be the case too. The trouble I am going to have to go thru to fix these problems will be pushed onto him and if I Can at least save people the issues with this guy then I feel I have done a service to the community. Please share so everyone can make sure to avoid having work done by this guy. Gives you a good price and then you are stuck probably paying for it all over again to have it done right!
