  Psychologist recommendations? Does anyone have any recommendations for psychologists or therapists in the area? I'm trying to find a new one after trying a few that haven't really been good fits for me. But I don't know anyone to ask for recommendations. I'm looking for someone who works with anxiety, depression, and OCD. And also accepts Excellus BC/BS. Does anyone have any good ideas? I'm used to seeing females, but I'm open to males too.

  If you do a provider search on [ExcellusBCBS.com](https://ExcellusBCBS.com) you can get a list of those who are in network in the Rochester area. Then look them up on psychology today for ratings. It's a website that shows their credentials, specialties, etc. My boyfriend did this and found a wonderful psychologist that helped him a lot. His needs were different than yours though.

  Create an account with Excellus BCBS on their website www.excellusbcbs.com .... Then click on "Find a dentist" and "Find a dentist in New York State". Select Dental Blue PPO, enter your Zip Code to find one close to you. The ones you have been calling must not be covered from Excellus, in which case you'd pay first and fill out paperwork for out-of-network coverage for reimbursement.
