  Any bar recommendations for a couple drinks with a friend about to have a second kid - one minor hurrah beforehand. Leading options appear to be Jimmys or Not Average Joes since we sadly have no pub in town. Any better options between here and Belmont?

  Bistro Duet (formerly Flora) has a really nice bar! Menotomy Grill and Common Ground are good too but acoustics in both can make it hard to have a conversation. Pretty sure that in all cases in Arlington you have to order a little food if you want more than two drinks.
