  Any arborists out there who have suggestions or recommendations for a tree service to help determine what's going on with this maple tree? The second picture is the inside of the tree. The weird thing is that I didn't even notice an issue with it just a few weeks ago. It seems to have deteriorated quickly.

  Hal Tuck, Licensed Arborist 615-295-6870. There are less than 100 licensed Arborists in the state. We found this out when trying to save a Weeping Willow tree and all of the tree services that came out just gave prices on removal. They do this because they are not licensed to treat the trees. Hal was amazing. Good luck.
