About us
The Chantry Centre in Dursley is a fantastic venue and community resource used for a range of public and private events, entertainment, business, community groups and societies. Facilities include the popular Lister Hall which can accommodate up to 300 people – an ideal space for concerts, shows, functions, business, charity and community events.
Conveniently located between Bristol and Gloucester and with easy access to the M5, the Chantry Centre is located in central Dursley. It is fully-licensed and available for private hire and catered functions - with rooms for meetings, clubs, musical events and more.
Facilities available include the Lister Hall, Centenary Lounge, Sports Bar, Skittles Alley, Meeting Rooms (with access to a private outside area) and fully equipped Kitchen.
The Lister Hall itself is an amazing space (with stage, lighting and side rooms), and can be adapted for many uses. A popular entertainment venue, it regularly plays host to productions by the Dursley Operatic and Dramatic Society, concerts by Dursley Male Voice Choir and music and dance nights by local arts organisation, World Jungle.
The Lister Hall is also popular for charity fund raising events and special deals are available for charities and local societies.
The Chantry Centre is home to a great variety of local groups and societies throughout the week, offering a range of activities for all ages to enjoy including Fitness and Dance classes, Samba Drumming, Table Tennis, Dursley Explorer Scouts, Dursley Male Voice Choir, Cheerleading, the Lister Skittles League and Bingo too!
