  Dermatologist recommendations? Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in San Diego? I live in the Hillcrest area. I've struggled with cystic acne for years (including on my scalp) and the dermatologists I've been to in the past haven't been very helpful. They just kept me on antibiotics for years and never offered up any other suggestions or treatments other than Accutane, which I don't want to take. Please help if you know someone legit. I hate doctors who brush you off and who go 100% by the book.   For Dermatologist, I highly recommend [Dr. Keel at Pacific Dermatology.](http://pacificdermatologycenter.com/) Don't let the "La Jolla trophy wife" look of the place put you off. Dr. Keel is a serious and conservative physician, without the M.D. ego.
