About us
After several years as an elementary teacher and school administrator, Herta checked off her career goals in public education and desired the chance to feel more fulfilled in her career life. In 2015, she made the bold move to follow her dream of becoming a hair stylist. This dream led her from Jacksonville, FL to Austin, TX where she trained at the Aveda Institute, graduating at the top of her class.
Impressed by their high-end without the ego philosophy, Herta began working at Tarver Hill in 2016. She is Tarver Hill's Lead Wedding & Updo Stylist and Level 2 Cut and Color Stylist.
Herta believes that everyone has a soul filled with inner beauty. She feels her mission is to enhance that inner awareness with beautiful hair. Herta's engaging smile and professionalism allow her clients to feel comfortable and confident in her capable hands. At the end of an appointment, when her clients see the finished product, they will look as beautiful as they feel!
