  I've had really good luck with [Osseo Meats](http://osseomeats.com/). They were recommended to me by a friend who's family was in the butchery bushiness for generations till their shop closed down 10 years ago. I called them up to ask if they had any pork belly once. "You mean like unsliced bacon or fresh?" "Fresh" I said. "Hmm, lemme call you back" he said. 15 minutes later "We don't have any in. I talked to the farmer, and he said he'd have some in on Sunday. That work for you?" Also, the [U of M Meat Lab](http://heavytable.com/university-of-minnesota-meat-lab/) will often have farm raised venison and occasionally other things like that.
