I have been working with children for 5 and a half years. I stopped working in a nursery to become a stay at home mum. From a young age I have always known that I wanted to work with children, so when I left school I started doing my college course Level 3 NVQ in children's care, Learning & Development.
About my setting:
We live in a lovely 4 bed detached house in the Cam area. We have an enclosed private garden and a separate dedicated playroom. The children will have use of the following rooms: * Playroom- this is the main playroom which has all the toys, books and other exciting things. * Living room- this is where the children will sleep if needed. * Kitchen- this is where all the arts and crafts take place as well as baking lots of lovely things. This is also where the children will eat meals. * Garden- the children will have lots of time to play outside in the garden. we will have lots of outdoor games and toys, we also have a climbing frame and a play house.
Does anyone know of a local childminder, who can do flexible days and the occasional school drop off/pick up? I know, as a rule, childminders like set days but I work shifts and my current childcare arrangement has just taken a U-Turn
