  Wife's company not paying maternity leave So my wife and I had twins last Thursday. We live in Oklahoma. She's been charged for short term disability the entire time she's worked at this company. (2 1/2 years). We've been trying to get pregnant so she specifically signed up for it on purpose. Now that she's had the babies and went on maternity leave they can't find where she signed up for it. We live in Tulsa. This company has screwed over her co workers by not paying unemployment when they laid off a girl. They said that she quit after giving her a small severance. They've done shady stuff before but there was no time to go to a new job and get fmla in time. We live in Tulsa, Ok. What should we do and what type of lawyer or are there any actual recomended lawyers? We don't have a lot of money and weren't expecting twins so we can't afford a crazy expensive lawyer but we also can't afford to not get her paid time off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  www.legalaidok.org/ You can apply online or over the pone. One of the best lawyers in the state will be assigned to your case at little to no cost. Sounds unreal but true. I used these people when I have trouble. I was facing three felonies and the lawyer I got literally walked into the judges office and came out 5 minutes later and said "all charges have been dropped" they also wiped my record clean for free.

  Hello lovely friends and followers! We have a very urgent need and I thought maybe you all might be able to help! We need to speak with a business or non-profit lawyer ASAP. Today if possible. Have been looking for one for a while but have not been able to find one that we can afford. If anyone knows of an affordable business or non-profit lawyer or one that might be willing to donate a little bit of time to help us, that would be great! We are located in Oklahoma so it would need to be one that is knowledgeable about non-profits in Oklahoma and 501c3 stuff. There are SOOO many things happening right now.
