ABOUT LOGAN SLAUGHTER
Over the past 8 years, while in both Chicago and NYC, I worked with the very best artists – ones with exceptional passion, unlimited dedication, and utter professionalism. Through my dedication and their example, I am continuously perfecting my craft in Makeup, Haircutting & Haircoloring.
VISION
As I continue to expand my career, my work continues to speak volumes about my creative vision. I like clean, edgy, imperfect perfection; practical, effortless Hair and virtually invisible Makeup that enhances your natural features. I love my job and I love connecting with people. My ultimate goal is to acquire an ideal clientele who are both open and willing to look and feel their very best by combining both our creative visions. With my help, we can achieve whatever make you feel great together.
TRAINING
I am MAC-trained and certified in Makeup Application. I learned my haircutting fundamentals from a Japanese salon in NYC (scissor-over-comb mens cuts/blue-printing haircut patterns, properly & gently prepping/preparing and washing clients with added massage elements) and improved my hair-sculpting technique through a master texturize-specialist stylist I assisted in Chelsea NYC. My sun-kissed and platinum/ash-blonde hair coloring techniques are Brooklyn-born from the Boho-chic styles in the heart of hipster Williamsburg Brooklyn (and from tons of personal experience! I am usually as blonde as it gets).

Salon JW is a shared salon space, where creative professionals like me can run their business with all of the amenities we need, without worrying about the restrictions or constraints that sometimes come with working in a commissioned salon. At Salon JW, from the moment you walk in, you have a warm, easy, welcoming feeling...and that's exactly what I love about it. Not only is there an in-store boutique with beautiful local artwork, but you can always refill your home product by buying pro... show more products on the spot. There's a beautiful back garden to relax in as well as cozy and comfy couches and chairs to relax in. A private parking lot behind the building makes it an easy stroll inside always and it provides privacy from the main street and any on-lookers. Come stop in, check us out, shop and say hello!
