  Ophthalmologist/Clinic Recommendations for LASIK eye surgery/PRK, preferably near Lawrenceville Hiya guys, looking to finally get my eyes hopefully corrected. I looked up the qualification requirements and seem to fit the criteria, looking to try and get a consultation set up by at least mid-March, though I'm aware that the safety and quality of the procedure would amount to how reputable the clinic that I chose. Does anyone have recommendations? Any location suggestions within ITP would also be fine.

  I went to Dr. Ashraf at Atlanta Vision Institute for the SMILE procedure. It was amazing. Surgery took maybe 30 minutes (actual procedure maybe 5 minutes), within 15 minutes my vision went from blurry white light to blurry images, within 2-3 hours I could see better than before, by 8 hours after I had 20/20 vision. I have not had any issues since, it has been 4-5 years. They have an office in Johns Creek, which is where they do the actual procedure.
