About us
Carole’s Candy Corner is located at 601 Station Avenue in the historical town of Haddon Heights NJ. The corner candy store is a fond childhood memory for many Americans, epitomizing small-town values, camaraderie and fun. The front of the store contains a wide variety of Asher’s chocolates, gourmet chocolate covered pretzels and Wilbur Buds. There are many gummy items (regular and sour) to choose from as well as gourmet licorice items, bridge mix, chocolate covered gummy bears, to name a few. There is a room full of penny candy that evokes memories and feelings of bygone days. This is where you grab a brown bag and load it with loose candy starting at a nickel. Nostalgic items include Necco wafers, chick-o-sticks, Zagnuts, Bonomo taffy, satellite wafers, candy cigarettes, bubble gum cigarettes, candy buttons, wax bottles, zots, pop rocks, atomic fire balls, lemon heads, and squirrel nut zippers. This room also has many novelty items to choose from. Lastly, there is a gift room with every day gift items as well as many items for the latest holiday. The store prepares “loot bags” filled with candy for children’s parties and gift certificates are available in any denomination. All major credit cards are accepted. Hours are (M-F 12:00 – 8:00), Sat. (10:00 – 9:00), currently closed on Sunday’s, except for the Sunday’s before holidays and special occasions (i.e. Valentine’s Day). Visit us soon.
