Anyone know of a place that trains aggressive dogs to be nice? I have a rescue dog that is about 5 years old, she takes things and protects them. She'll snap at anyone who tries to take them back or gets too close. I also have a baby and as he gets more mobile, I'm worried that she'll bite him.
If anyone has any recommendations for a dog trainer that specializes in aggressive dogs, please let me know!

[Canine PhD](http://www.yourcaninephd.com/) works with dogs with aggression and other behavioral issues. If you need more than a trainer, [Lynne Seibert](http://www.gavetbehavior.com/) is a board-certified veterinary behaviorist based out of the Atlanta area.
Any recommendations for a dog trainer that specializes in behavior problems such as anxiety, dog aggression, and fear aggression towards people? (Our dog has all 3) Thanks!

I work at Canine PhD (http://www.yourcaninephd.com/), so I definitely recommend them! But, if they don't seem to work for you make sure you find someone that focuses on reward based training ESPECIALLY for fear aggression and anxiety. We get tons of fearful/aggressive/anxious dogs that have gone to other trainers that claimed they did positive reinforcement, but also slapped a shock collar or pinch collar on the dog. I'm not saying those tools can't work in certain situations (even though I don't personally like them), but they can really mess up a dog that already has fear, anxiety, and aggression.
Does anyone know of a dog behaviorist/trainer either in Metro Atlanta or the Macon area that would be willing to donate their time to work with a dog that has been a victim of domestic violence? It would be ideal if he could stay with the trainer at their home or facility. This would be fairly short term.
Baby is a medium sized 9 month old male puppy. He needs help with socialization and overcoming fear issues due to the abuse he suffered at the hands of the family's abuser. We are trying to get him happy and healthy while his family is doing the same.
Please contact advocate@ahimsahouse.org if you can help or know of someone who can.

Kato Bruce is being fostered by Renee and Court, he's been around a while. Kato has some serious behavioral problems and we need to find somebody close to Atlanta to work with him ASAP. If you have...
Canine PhD (Meredith) is in Inman Park, Atlanta (Elizabeth Street). www.yourcaninephd.com She is not cheap. But, I wouldn't trust my dogs to anyone else. She has trained with some of the best.
Hey guys...
Does anyone have any recommendations for a dog trainer in the area? We have a new puppy that is going to be a bit large and needs some manners. I asked the vet and they did not have anyone.
Thanks

I took my dog to classes here. I liked it and it isn't that far away. http://www.yourcaninephd.com/
