  Moving from Boston back to Providence, Mover Recommendations? Pretty much the title, I moved to Boston last year and am moving back to Providence and could use a recommendation for movers! My Providence -> Boston moving experience was an absolute nightmare with the movers showing up 8 hours late (seriously), and not wrapping/covering anything so furniture was damaged, plus not coming with tools so they couldn't disassemble my bed which added like 2 hours to their process (which I got charged for). ​ I just need a good mover that's pretty cheap that takes care of my stuff and will get me back to Providence lol, thanks in advance!

  I used these folks twice - Once for moving a large piece of delicate printing equipment and another time for a Somerville to Providence move.   I used Intelligent Labor and Moving. Their quote was right on, and they did the work quickly and easily. In fact, when I tried to help out, I realized that I was just slowing them down. They didn't break or scratch anything, the guys were really friendly. Best move yet. Btw, it wasn't the case in my instance but it came up while we were chatting in the truck: if you need to move out of an apartment quickly—I mean, like you broke up with a significant other and you need to get out stealthily while they're at work—Intelligent Moving & Labor will come over, throw your stuff into boxes, and get you out. http://www.intelligentlabor.com/ Most expensive movers I've used: Gentle Giant.
