Ophthalmologist in Rochester Looking for an Ophthalmologist in the Rochester area that will treat a chalazion on my upper lid. Was told that steriod injection is highly effective but the couple of place I called only do the surgical removal. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for groups that do this procedure - does the U of R offer services as well? Just kind of lost as I have never interacted with any Ophthalmologists ever. Thanks.

I had one of those a few years ago, had great results with [Dr. Rosenberg](http://www.ocusight.com/) after a failed steroid injection by someone else. In my case there was almost like a tiny stone in there so I don't think it would have gone away without the tiny "surgery." You can't tell it was ever there and it was less painful than the steroid injection (neither are very painful at all though).
