Looking for a cheap car rental in NYC specifically Brooklyn I am going to NYC for a holiday with some friends, and was planning to rent a car so we can visit Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington as well. However, looking at the prices I was shocked - 3 days rental costs as much as a 10 day rental that we booked in California!
We are looking for a mid-size SUV, and the cheapest I could find is the Dollar car rental. But is has extremely negative reviews, so I am very hesitant to rent from there.
We will be staying in Brooklyn, so maybe anyone knows a decent car rental service around that area?

A Greyhound bus to Philly is $10, to DC $14. You can just leave from Port Authority - it's a huge hub of a subway stop in the middle of Manhattan. https://www.greyhound.com A Megabus is even cheaper... a dollar to DC, $5 to Philly. Just outside a subway stop in Manhattan. https://us.megabus.com/
Is there anyone planning on driving through Sioux Falls on their way to the National Convention? I am looking for someone to split expenses with so I will be able to definitely attend. Please PM me.

Who busses from NYC to DC? Looking for cheap, reliable bus service! Anyone got any hookups?
Chris V. replied:
I do it a bunch. Greyhound.com roundtrip should be around $30 or so. Leaves from Port Authority goes to Union Station DC.Has Wifi and outlets (although Wifi is terrible obviously)

I've taken greyhound for years and they are reliable and cheap.
Chris V. replied:
If you book early enough Amtrak prices can be around $70 each way - still not beating Greyhounds under $20 each way but definitely more comfortable of a ride
Is anybody a travel agent? I need help. My brain is frazzled. I think I have accomplished more telecommunication today than any other day in my life. I'm trying to get everyone on the same flight and I keep getting told that it is not possible. Right now I'm buying 46 tickets. That number will likely rise. Can somebody help me please before I have a heart attack 5 days before my wedding?
Cheapest way to get to Phoenix, AZ without driving there youself?
