  My google-fu is failing me. I'm hoping to find pictures (and booking information) for the kind of hotel/motel that has detached rooms. Not primitive cabins or camping - heat and electricity. Or the kind of bed and breakfast that does. I don't know what the magic words are for this search. I can usually do better than this. Any thoughts? (Or recommendations, for that matter?) The Seafoam lodge in Mendocino - where I've never stayed, but I remembered driving past it - seems to be out of business.

  Hey Ala, Charlie & I stayed at the Inn at Schoolhouse Creek in Mendocino a few years back -- lovely accommodations, not too expensive, great food, and that all-important separate cabin. They let dogs stay there too, which is why we chose it. Short walk tothe beach (watch out for poison oak, though) and a short drive into town, and to kayaking. http://www.schoolhousecreek.com/
