  Trouble in the southwest! My sweetie is on the road with our 91 Westy (The Good Dog) heading for Phoenix - Flagstaff area. The Doggie has developed an oil light - alarm issue! The oil light flashes and the buzzer buzzes, usually at the top of a long grade - then returns to normal after the vehicle is pulled over, shut off, then restarted. Like right away. Anyone have any insight I could pass along to him? Anyone have recommendations for a Westy mechanic in Phoenix or Flagstaff area who could check out the problem? Thanks in advance!!!!

  Jim at Eurocars in Cottonwood (928) 634-2556 works on Vanagons. If in Flag already Findlay VW has one tech who is super and been doing Vdubs forever. Ask for Carsten. I have taken my EV to both w good results and know they do Vanagons. Wish I still had a Gon. good luck
