Can anyone recommend any good cheap chiropractors in the area? We moved here recently from PA and we were going to a chiropractor that charged $25 per visit. Is there anyone out here charging something close to that?

Dr. Paul in Loveland charges $35 I believe if you don't have insurance. I could be wrong though...http://www.calldoctorpaul.com/
Advice needed - I turned my head funny yesterday afternoon and have definitely pulled something at the base of my neck. Ain't no good. Does anyone in Cincy have any recommendations for doctors or family physicians? Much love for the help!!

Take up to 600 mg of Advil as many times a day as the packages says is allowed. That reduces the swelling. I have had increasingly severe back problems since 2004. Drink mineral water which contains magnesium. This is hard to find in North America, but you can get magnesium tablets anyways. (The muscles use magnesium.) If possible, sleep on your back with support under your neck. Expect that it will feel worse, not better, after sleeping. As for preferring a doctor- the doctor may well send you to a chiropractor, anyhow. As I understand it, there can be two causes of this type of problem- misalignment of the vertebrae in the neck, and too much muscle tension in one area. One often causes the other: the vertebrae are not lined up right (or worse, there is small amount of fluid leaking from the inside of the spine, i.e., you have a herniated disc), and the muscles try to pull them back into place, or your muscles are so tense in one spot that they are pulling the vertebrae out of alignment. I would find a chiropractor who also does massage. Chiropraxis helps the problem by getting the vertebrae into the proper position, and massage helps by reducing muscle tension. Going back and forth between the two in a single session can reduce the problem very quickly. Of course, I am not a doctor so take my advice with a grain of salt. Here is the guy I go to, I have gone into his office with severe problems and come out feeling far better: www.calldoctorpaul.com
