  Ok Disney Junkies I need some advice. I guess I'm not really a Disney Junkie yet but I sure want to be. I've been to Disney World once in high school for a cheerleading comp but didn't have much time in the parks for fun. I would really like to plan a trip for my family of 5. Three kids ages 10,13,15 and of course my hubby. Here is one of my problems. We have 3 Standard Poodles and one chihuahua. I have never boarded them before and not sure how my female Spoo would react. Would you rather rent off property and bring pets or stay on site. Next the dining situation. We are a very picky family is there somewhere I can find menus and reviews of restaurants? I have so many questions so if anyone has any advice for a newbie I sure would appreciate it. Also At 34 years of age I'm not in the best of health. I have lupus among many other things which make my health unpredictable. I am highly allergic to the sun but can handle small doses of I'm covered with shade. Walking can be a problem at times. So any advice on the best time to go, disability features anything you can think of to help me plan my dream vacation would be greatly appreciated.

  A great program we use for boarding/pet sitting is sleep over rover. Www.sleepoverrover.com my dog loved them. They put the dogs up in house not kennels. Second I would say the best time for you to go would probably be feb mar. Less crowds, sun not as bad. Make sure you rent a scooter (with a shade) so that you can rest and enjoy your time.

  www.sleepoverrover.com is the only place I will "board" my dog. Absolutely cannot put him in a cage...EVER! We've gone this route 3 times with 70 lb. Shortie. $43/Day for a large dog. 10% discount after "X" amount of days...could be 2 weeks. Multiple dog discount and smaller dogs less. My husband doesn't want anyone coming to our home, so Shortie stays at a sitter's home. Criteria: They must be home all day. Either work from home or retired. Sure they go out for groceries, appointments, etc. You tell them what you want. I say "no other pets", "no children", cannot remove from the home and take for rides in the car. Twice it was a lady in Sun City, retired Phoenix policewoman & past volunteer at AZ Humane Society emergency room and her husband, then he had a stroke at the last minute, and I went with a 43 year old retired male (yes I was concerned...kept thinking of the last 43 year old guy I dated) who was a retired, U.S. Forest Service Firefighter. He had been a captain and was on disability and home all the time. You go to their home and check them out. I made sure I had two visits to feel comfortable. I would highly recommend! Also...I place a tag on Shortie that says "Pet Sitter - Sleep Over Rover" with whoever's name, address & phone in case he gets out and is two doors down. We may be out of cell range.
