  Hi, I'm relocating with my husband and two young children to Boston in September ad wondered if anyone could recommend the best area to live? We are looking for an area close to T line into financial district but with good facilities for children, kindergartens and if course some nice little bars/restaurants for us to socialize and meet new friend.   I'm from Edinburgh too. Brookline is the best for bars/restaurants, kindergartens and getting into center on the T relatively quick - particularly good as a first base when arriving before moving on to somewhere more permanent - as long as you don't mind a crowded train. My wife is Scottish too should all organize an Edinburgh night out in the Haven in JP. Best of luck on move.

  East Lothian originally for me, we do enjoy the odd meal in the Haven when we are in town.
