  Hi, all. I bought a bunch of school supplies (crayons, notebooks, looseleaf binder and paper, ruler, pencils, pens, etc.) in order to donate them to my bank Astoria Bank which for the past many years has had a collection every August. So I go in today to bring the supplies and they told me they are not collecting this year - just making a monetary donation...so, here I have all these supplies. Anyone know of another site collecting school supplies? Churches, boys & girls clubs? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

  The Safe Horizon office in Queens Family Court has a school supply drive every year for children affected by domestic violence and children in homeless shelters. They would be thrilled to accept your generous donation. 718-262-0202.
