  Vacation planning for next summer and looking for recommendations for places you have actually stayed and enjoyed, anywhere along the East coast from Maine to South Carolina, or Canada. Must be near the beach, preferably a rental home (cottage/cabin/townhouse whatever) and preferably right on the water. With price range for a week if you have that information as well or want to message me it! I've looked at hundreds of places on line but I have a hard time trusting the reviews of people I don't know. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

  We just went to myrtle beach and stayed in an ocean front condo at Long Bay Resort. It was fantastic. We never left the resort, tiki bar at the pool, another bar serving lunch and dinner overlooking the pool and ocean, breakfast buffet that was super and totallly reasonable (5.95/kids 8.95/adults) nice restaurant on site for dinner, lazy river, hot tubs, sauna, mini golf on the rooftop, even a washer/dryer in our suite. The beach was amazing the surf was so fun and the water was warm. Longbayresort.com
