  Suggestions please. Looking for an hotel for special weekend break celebrating a 60th birthday in October. We know the north western lakes well so maybe a change from there would be good. We enjoy long remote walks. Not fussed about spa etc but a good selection of whisky and a real fire would be nice! Thanks.
