  I am looking for a recommendation for a dentist for my 7 year old who has a bunch of cavities and possibly needs a root canal or maybe even an extraction. It seems like the dentists are quick to want to do general sedation in office or at the hospital and to stretch out the appointments. Specifically if anyone has experience with these types of issues I would love a referral for a dentist for a second opinion. Not just a general kids dentist but very specifically a dentist you have personally is d for your kids for these types of issues. I am so confused and overwhelmed and don’t know what to do at this point.

Our four-year-old granddaughter is already anxiety ridden about the dentist and now has another cavity. She has very soft teeth and bit into something and broke a little part of her tooth off.
