Online therapist here? Hi there! Can anyone recommend any therapists/counselors here that does online sessions? I don’t really want to go out into the city during this time if I can avoid it. They don’t have to speak English fluently as I speak conversational Japanese but some knowledge of the English language would help make it smoother! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried [TELL](http://www.telljp.com)? Definitely don't go to Dr. Burger.
Looking for a psychotherapist in Tokyo If anybody knows a good therapist in Tokyo, please let me know. Specifically, I would prefer a therapist who can help me see things differently. Therapy can definitely be in Japanese, too.
All I could find on the subreddit were one post warning against a specific therapist and another post that is a bit old and irrelevant to me.
Thank you for your help.
Hi,
I'm looking on behalf of a friend for a psychologist/psychiatrist that speaks English to help him deal with the depression that comes from being a student within the Nara/Osaka area.
Any recommendations?
Looking for psychiatrist/psychologist Hi,
I've been living in Tokyo for a couple of months now and have been struggling with feelings of sadness, anger, and just feeling very anxious a majority of the time. I suspect I have depression and possibly anxiety but would like to seek professional help.
I have no history whatsoever with professional help in the mental health department so I'm a little clueless. I don't speak Japanese, or at least not enough to have a therapy session in. However, I am fluent in French and English.
I searched for several therapists in Tokyo and have a rough list of names in mind. I also had a look at Tokyo Counseling but I'm a little confused as which therapist to see considering they have many listed on their website. If anyone has had any experience with therapists in Tokyo, I'd greatly appreciate advice on which therapists are good and which ones to avoid in general.
Thank you!
Does anyone know of an English speaking hospitals open during silver week that accept national health insurance? I tried going to a Japanese one but they flat out ignored me and I don't want to go back.

TUJ's emergency contact Kyle Cleveland was really helpful for me. Call or email him. TELL hotline would be good, too. Free, English-speaking, and decent hours. --> http://telljp.com If you log into HTH's website, there are lists of hospitals and doctors who're English-speaking that HTH contracts with. Since you have HTH, they should cover those services via direct pay or reimbursement (filing a claim).
