Can anybody recommend a really fancy vegan restaurant?
I've been to Plum Bistro but don't know if there's someplace even more upscale. I'm OK with it being not totally vegan as long as they have vegan dinner options.
Thank you!

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant? I moved to Fremont about a week ago so I don't know any nice restaurants. My fiance is flying in from Montreal in a week and we'd like to go to a nice dinner together since we haven't seen each other in months (she's been working overseas). I'm looking to spend around $60-$100 but don't mind going over. Could anyone recommend a nice place? I've been looking at sites online but they've been very unhelpful.
edit: Thought about it and decided I have no intention of going as low as $60 total. I'm thinking about $50 per entree, not including appetizers, desserts, or beverages.

I second [Canlis](http://www.canlis.com/) and [Tilth](http://tilthrestaurant.com/). Canlis is traditional fancy: swanky atmosphere and a great view. Tilth is a part of the slow food movement and was [featured](http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/27/dining/27 nine.html) in the NY Times last year as one of the US's upcoming restaurants. I'd pass on the [space needle](http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/the-travesty-of-dinner-at-the-space-needle/Content?oid=3799061).

I hear [Canlis](http://www.canlis.com) is a nice place. Haven't been personally but it has been recommended. The [Space Needle](http://www.spaceneedle.com/restaurant/) is nice as well. Enjoy!
