We recently had an island removed in our kitchen and need to have the wood repaired where the island was removed (area is 6 inches by approx 5 feet). White oak will need to be ‘knit’ in. 2. If we can afford it, we want to have our hardwood floor (white oak), sanded and re stained a darker color. If we can’t afford it right now, we’ll still need the floor repaired and won’t worry about it matching until we get the entire floor done.
