  A nice restaurant with good food where I can take people for a dinner around 8 pm who will only be in Warsaw for a couple days? I was thinking sth at the Vistula river? Nowy Świat? Old town? Preferably Polish food but not necessary "zapiecek". EDIT: both the food and the location are important - I am looking for a place that is situated in a pleasant district worth seeing so that my guest can have a quick look / short walk around in the occasion.

  U barssa. Right in the heart of old town market with absolutely amazing cuisine and wonderful live music

  Der elefant at Plac Bankowy (the restaurant has two separate spaces in it) 1. Fish room which I prefer where there is no option of booking table but you can wait short time and they will sit you for sure 2. Meet room - more elegant. it's near old town, excellent customer service, good food, fresh fish, not very expensive for such a quality and nice ambiance. I would also reccomend STARY DOM at Puławska if you want a Polish proper food, but not location wise...or ROZANA restaurant it s most beautifull.
