We would like for you to consider our practice your child’s “dental home.” Everything in our office is geared toward making your child feel as comfortable as possible. Our treatment philosophy is based on putting the needs of our young patients first.
We believe that the best way to begin a lifetime of excellent oral health care is to start early. In correlation with the ADA's recommendation, We recommend your child’s first visit to our office should occur between 6 and 12 months or around the time your child gets his or her first tooth.
The concept of a dental home is not new. It is similar to establishing a medical home for your child at the pediatrician’s. Creating a dental home for your child is a team effort—it requires not only the assistance of the dentist and the dental team, but also that of parents and non-dental professionals.
A small child’s first visit to the dentist can be the basis for establishing a “dental home,” according to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. With dental caries listed by the CDC as the number one childhood infectious disease, having your child feel comfortable when visiting the dentist is critical for maintaining good oral health. Our dental office is designed to make your child feel “at home.” As a pediatric practice, we specialize in treating infants, children, teenagers and special-needs patients.
Our commitment is to help your child keep an attractive, healthy smile for a lifetime. Regular dental appointments every six months allow our practice to help your child maintain optimal oral heath. As the dental home for your child, we will:
• Provide comprehensive dental care... show more • Accurately assess oral diseases and conditions • Inform you about proper care of your child’s teeth and soft tissues • Design a customized preventive oral health program • Provide guidance about growth and development issues (e.g., tooth eruption, thumb, finger, or pacifier habits; feeding practices) • Create a plan for emergency dental trauma • Inform you about proper nutrition and dietary practices • Refer you to other specialties (such as oral surgeons, orthodontists, etc.) based on your child’s oral health needs
The goal of our dental home is to help make your child's dental care as easy, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible. We feature a pleasant, family-oriented environment with state- of-the-art equipment. Our play area has plenty of educational books, a video arcade, mini movie theater, and toys to help your child enjoy visiting his or her dental home. show more
Ken-Ton friends, can you please recommend a great family or pediatric dentist locally? Bad circumstances lost us our prior dentist and Audrey's having problems that must be dealt with ASAP!

That being said we go to Winning Smiles on Sheridan and they are AMAZING. When Kayla was having a problem and it was over the weekend and they were closed the doctor was calling and/or texting every couple hours to check on her. They have been so good with Justin and his dentistry anxiety after what Dr. Creighton did. Just love love love them!! http://www.winningsmilespd.com
