My current one has a really nice office and friendly staff, but is always trying to upsell me more stuff than I really need. She also pushes "treatments" that aren't covered by my insurance.   If Torrance isn't too far for you, [Serenity Dental Spa](http://angelahuangdmd.com/) at Hawthorne & Artesia is pretty great. Very comfy seats, you can listen to music or watch a movie while they clean your teeth, and Dr. Angela is very friendly and professional. She takes Delta Dental insurance, but I can't speak for any other insurances.
