Social places to stay in Tokyo for 7 days 18 year old going to be in Tokyo from dec 31 to jul 7th to see the newyears and explore. I've been looking at many capsule hotels and hostels which all seem clean & pretty affordable but I was hoping that someone here could recommend places to stay that are more social/ have activities/ a social lounge. Meeting people is honestly not a priority but I'd thoroughly enjoy having someone to talk with when i get back to my cheap hotel.
from what i've read on this subreddit K's house seems to be have a community/ social aspect to it.

I met some great people at [K's house in Kyoto](http://kshouse.jp/kyoto-e/index.html)! A friend and I were drinking in the common area when another group came up and said hello to us. Before we knew it we had a large group of about 12 people all drinking together. Lots of fun. Another favourite place of mine is [Oak Hostel Cabin](https://oakhostel.com/cabin/) in Tokyo. It is a capsule hotel, so people naturally gravitate toward the common area in the evening. Again, I met lots of great people here :) I was 19 when I was in Tokyo last year and had no trouble meeting people (in case you're nervous about your age).
