  There's [the Westin](http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1083), which is one of the priciest but nicest hotels. It's in one of the best locations in the heart of downtown, walking distance to most things worth seeing. If you want to splurge, consider this place. Also excellently situated (for downtown) but a bit more budget-friendly is [the Lord Elgin](http://www.lordelginhotel.ca/index.aspx). I've never stayed there, but I've heard a good things about it.
