Therapist Does anybody know of a good therapist in Jacksonville? I live off of Southside Boulevard so preferably in that area but I don’t mind driving a ways. Just moved to the area.

I know two: [Kristen Kelley PsyD](https://www.baptistjax.com/doctors/psychologist/kristen-kelley-psyd) she's in Jacksonville Beach, and [Matt Borer Ph.D LMFT](https://www.mattborer.com/) who is in riverside. Both are very good. Be aware that there can be very long wait times to get in to see a therapist (especially a good one) as a new patient. If it's an emergency, if you're having thoughts of harming yourself or other people call 911 and you can be helped immediately at the hospital.
Recommendations for a therapist? Hey all, would anyone know of a good gender identity therapist in jacksonville, currently accepting new patients. Bonus points for taking appointments on the weekends. Thanks guys!

a psychology professor I had back in school is also a therapist who specialized in LGBT issues. His name is Matt Borer https://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/name/Matt_Borer_PhD,LMFT_Jacksonville_Florida_65177http://www.mattborer.com/ this guy is crazy smart and insightful. i don't think he takes insurance but offers sessions based on a sliding scale. Good luck
