  Any amateur or otherwise reasonable priced photographers for a wedding? I am having my wedding in October and I'm currently in the process of finding a photographer. I have looked at a ton of websites for photographers in the area and it seems like wedding photography starts at $3000 and only goes up from there. While I definitely respect that the time of experienced professionals is expensive, I simply don't have it within my budget to spend that kind of money. In a perfect world, I would be paying $1000. I was wondering if anyone knew of photographers in London that could do this kind of work (5-6 hours of coverage) for this price? I'm very open to the idea of hiring an amateur photographer or a photographer that doesn't typically do weddings. Thanks.

  Check out [Emily Soti Photography](http://emilysotiphotography.com/). I've done a few shoots with her and she's always reasonably priced for those, I don't know how much she charges for weddings though.
