Looking for good Chinese or Thai restaurant recommendations that deliver to the area of Irving Park and Elston. I get delivery from Mayflower a lot, they're OK, not real crazy about Thai Thai on Elston.

Looking for the best Thai restaurant in the city. Got a recommendation?

I'm a big fan of [Sticky Rice](http://stickyricethai.com/). They have a huge menu to choose from. If you need something safe, they have all of your standard curry and fried rice dishes. If you want to be adventurous, you can try unique things like the fried worms.

[Sticky Rice](http://stickyricethai.com/), [Opart](http://www.opartthai.com/), and [Thai Classic](http://www.thaiclassicrestaurant.com/) are my top 3. My Thai girlfriend would probably swap Opart out for [Ben's Noodles](http://www.bensnoodlesandrice.com/) since they're more vegetarian-friendly (they leave out fish sauce on request and have a larger vegetarian selection).

I like Thai Bakery, but recently we've been eating at Sticky Rice and they have some interesting northern Thai dishes that I haven't seen at other places. And yes, Yelp would be good for this type of question. And to make it more specific, are there specific dishes you are looking for?

From the [LTHForum list of great neighborhood restaurants](http://www.lthforum.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=32599):
Aroy Thai-- Aroy means “delicious” in Thai and this neighborhood favorite is well-named. From the exotic to the classic, Aroy Thai captures all of the essential flavors—funky, tart, spicy, savory and sweet—with loving care and consistency. Crave-worthy!
Elephant Thai-- The far northwest side’s first Thai restaurant offers bright, freshly-flavored versions of Thai classics.
Spoon Thai-- Lincoln Square Thai restaurant famous for “secret menu” of brightly authentic Thai dishes.
Sticky Rice-- Chicago's first Thai restaurant devoted to Northern (Isaan) Thai cooking offers a wide range of pungent dishes (only a few of which involve bugs).
TAC Quick-- Chic Uptown Thai spot serving eye-opening authentic grilled meats and Thai curries.
