Robert L. Staples, O.D. returned to Wichita Falls after working as a faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX.
Dr. Staples started his practice in Wichita Falls in 1992 before leaving for Texas Tech in 2010, returning in 2013 to take over the practice of the retiring Dr. Joe Rupe.
Dr. Staples obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. From there he went onto the University of Houston College of Optometry where he graduated as of Doctor of Optometry
