  I’ve scoured Yelp for reviews, and I have come up with mixed results. I’m looking for a reputable garage/mechanic that can work on a timing chain, radiator, and/or surpentine belt. The rattling from my brother’s car is getting scary, and the battery light turned on yesterday. I don’t want him driving it as he is physically disabled (no hand controls on the car, though) and therefore more vulnerable than many others should he get stalled out somewhere. Can anyone recommend a garage/mechanic? Thanks in advance.

  Help!! Looking for a honest mechanic!!!!My 2008 Nissan Altima service engine light went on. I took it to auto store to have my engine scanned. It came up codes for transmission and Cadillac ( sp) converter. I had no signs of transmission issues while driving. However, I did notice today some transmission fluid on my garage floor. I went to local mechanic and he is telling me his reader is saying I have to get a rebuilt or new transmission. I am hoping someone can recommend an honest mechanic knowledgeable with converters and transmissions. Help? I am having a hard time believing I need a new transmission. So appreciate any help!

  Anyone know of a mechanic to fix my sliding door on Sienna mini van. Toyota wants to charge $1600. It needs a new motor and cable. They originally said $500 then jacked it up. They claim they will give me a discount to $1200. Now I dont trust them.

  Any recommendations for an honest mechanic...I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know much about cars but I just brought my car to the place I usually go Thursday because my check engine light was on and they supposedly fixed the issue and few other things, I spent $625....my check engine light came on again yesterday and now their saying it’s going to be at least $150 to $600 more dollars depending on how long and how much they have to take apart. I can’t help but feel like I’m being taken advantage of and just want someone who is trustworthy.
