  I'm restoring a '76 Eleganza II here in Orange County, CA. I use Jim K in the Fremont CA area 510-440-1101 as a one-stop for parts, supplies and amazing, generous advice. MGM GMC/Miguel Mendez in Rancho Cucamonga (within driving/towing distance) for advice, wrenching on stuff I can't handle, and smog checks. GMCnet's search function for guidance on literally anything GMC. Don't take your GMC to a "regular" mechanic without at least researching on the forum first - some things are unique and not intuitive to general mechanics. Have fun!
