  Roofing companies in KY do not have to be licensed to do work. I really recommend you check out the [Kentuckiana Roofing Contractors Association](http://www.krca.org/certified-contractor-listing/) and cross reference with the [BBB](http://www.bbb.org/louisville/business-reviews/associations/kentucky-roofing-contractors-association-in-louisville-ky-2864/#bbbonlineclick) to find someone that is worth a damn. *(I work for a roofing company - I don't think it is ethical to promote/name drop on Reddit so I won't. I'll let you decide on your own but I'll give ya the resources to do so in the best way possible!)*
