  Came down with donations and wanting to help with the animals and or clean up. We donated the supplies but have driven all day trying to find somewhere to help out. We wasted an entire day. We only have one day left. Does anyone know of where we can help out? I can also shelter animals.

  If you haven't already done so, please call 211 or the TAHC Harvey Hotline at 512-719-0799. They are coordinating supplies as well as rescue/recovery efforts for pets and livestock. Thank you.

  I have a friend whose mom's house was flooded and they escaped by boat. They have lost home and cars. Dog is now sick and needs to see a vet ASAP, but they have already lost everything and can't afford much. Any vets seeing owned pets affected by Harvey? Cheap vet recommendations. If you or someone you know is looking to volunteer or make a donation; wanting to offer shelter for animals; or needing to report live or dead animals, please call the hotline at 512-719-0799."
