  Hello all! I’m looking for recommendations for carpet suppliers / fitters please for three bedrooms plus stairs. Not sure if it’s best to go straight for the likes of Carpet Right and Tapi Carpets etc to get one of their deals/offers:- I generally prefer to support the smaller independents too... Or is it cheaper to buy the carpet and underlay from one place and then find someone to professionally fit it? Need some quotes initially, then I know how long I’ll need to save for to be able to proceed! The house is located in Banbury, about a mile from the town centre, all current carpets have been removed and floorboards extensively prepared to ensure an even surface (without any squeaks!) so all good to go...

  Wouldn’t touch tapi again with a bargepole- awful company in my experience. I would also recommend the small independents and have used Hinton Carpets twice now. They are excellent.
