  Bakery recommendations for a wedding cake? I'm buying my sister's wedding cake in November and haven't lived in SD for almost decade now. I have no idea where to start besides yelp and other "review sites". Does anyone have any recommendation for a good bakery to deal with. This is going to be a small 2 tier cake basically just for the bride/groom and bridal party. They're making other arrangements for the dessert for the guests.

  I used [Towne Bakery](http://www.townebakery.com) up in Del Mar. I had a 4 tier and sheet cakes for 180 guests. Great price and the flavor options are delicious. They had mini cupcakes with frosting shots so you could create any combination you want.
