  I can't say enough about Gem Spa! It's a local, independent, woman owned business, which is awesome, but they are also reasonably priced, incredibly welcoming and friendly and they do wonderful work. For years I frequented the high volume nail salons but I just get a terrible feeling about the way the staff are treated and how you are just a butt in a seat at those places.   Gem Spa on King at Union is basically my second home. The girls there are highly entertaining and it's a small business run by a young woman so I like supporting that, especially since they are being severely effected by the ION construction. http://www.gemspa.ca/ They do Gelish and have lots of new colours every season.
