  [Lake Union Vet Clinic](http://www.lakeunionvet.com/) is fantastic if you're near SLU. My cats both had some complications a few years ago, and Dr. Waterhouse was great at laying out all the possible causes and treatment options. He was incredibly transparent about pricing and broke down what he expected the issue to cost as well as what I should be prepared for in the worst case scenario. They're open until 6 on weekdays and have some Saturday hours.
