  Looking for veterinarian recommendation in the Fort Worth area! It's hard to discriminate between online reviews, so I'm asking here. I'd like to think that I'm a well-informed dog mom, so I'd like a vet who answers questions thoroughly. My first experience with a vet in the area wasn't the best -- he brushed off my questions and recommended (in a condescending tone) a prong collar to correct my dog's behaviors. I know that my pup experiences a lot of anxiety while at the vet, but I just thought that wasn't the most appropriate suggestion to make. That said, I'd appreciate recommendations for anywhere in the Fort Worth area! Preferably affordable ones, but I'm willing to shell out more for a good vet.

  [Westcreek Animal Clinic](http://westcreekvet.com/). We have been with them almost 20 years. They have now cared for 4 of our dogs. I think they are very affordable. They are always attentive in answering questions. Always give you a full range of options. They know we are the type who will spend what it takes on our dogs - however they give us all the info (pros and cons) before we decide. Their attention and caring attitude were helpful when it came time to put down the dogs we've lost to age and illness. Can't imagine dealing with another vet clinic. The ones we dealt with before Westcreek were subpar.

  Looking for a Veterinarian in south Fort Worth We've yet to find a vet we're happy with that doesn't charge an arm and a leg that is also close to where we live. We would prefer someone in south Fort Worth in the Wedgewood area (south Hulen, Alta Mesa, Overton Ridge) who can also do grooming on cats. Any help/suggestions would be awesome!

  [Westcreek Animal Clinic](http://www.westcreekvet.com/) off McCart. We have used them with all of our dogs. Have always been happy. I find them reasonable on prices. Fairly present all options and directions to go with treatment. Putting down two of our dogs (One old age/One cancer) was the hardest thing to do. They gave great counsel about when was the right time. Very respectful and helpful through that difficult. Our dogs have their preference on which vet to see, but we have seen all of them and they are all great.
