  Looking for veterinarian recommendation in the Fort Worth area! It's hard to discriminate between online reviews, so I'm asking here. I'd like to think that I'm a well-informed dog mom, so I'd like a vet who answers questions thoroughly. My first experience with a vet in the area wasn't the best -- he brushed off my questions and recommended (in a condescending tone) a prong collar to correct my dog's behaviors. I know that my pup experiences a lot of anxiety while at the vet, but I just thought that wasn't the most appropriate suggestion to make. That said, I'd appreciate recommendations for anywhere in the Fort Worth area! Preferably affordable ones, but I'm willing to shell out more for a good vet.

  We've been incredibly happy with [Brown Trail Animal Hospital](http://www.browntrailah.com/) in Hurst. I think they're on the pricier end (first dog, only vet clinic we've gone to, so I don't have much in the way of comparison) but my dog loves it there and I never go away feeling as though my questions are unanswered.
