I'm looking for recommendations for veterinary surgeons with 5 hours of NoVa who can perform a perineal urethrostomy. I've gotten quotes as high $3500 and as low as $900 (several vets I know personally told me to stay away from the latter.) I'll probably pay whatever I have to, but if I can find a quality care provider that will do the surgery for $2200 or less, I'd be in a much happier place. Thanks for your help.

  Try calling [Anacostia Animal Clinic](http://www.doctorashleydvm.com/). It's in Anacostia but Dr. Ashley is so awesome. I take my dog there for anything routine (shots, one time a tooth fell out, needed her to look at a weird lump) but I'm sure she could do surgeries too.

  [Dr. Ashley at Animal Clinical of Anacostia](http://www.doctorashleydvm.com/). Yes it's in Anacostia, but the service is awesome, Dr. Ashley is excellent, and you don't have to spend ridiculous amounts of money. The only downside is it's walk-in only, so get there when it opens.
