About us
Our DJ Rocks caters to brides wanting to have an amazing time their wedding reception, want the entire reception from start to finish to run perfectly smooth and do NOT want the chicken dance played (aka a cheesy DJ). When you book with Our DJ Rocks, you know exactly who will be there on your special day, DJ Kristin.
Our DJ Rocks is one of the few woman owned DJ companies based in Orlando, Florida. It has built a reputation by putting brides first in everything they do. The company has a personal touch, never subcontracting out to other DJs or apprentices. Our DJ Rocks is certified by the Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment, the only school of its kind in the entire Southeast and one of only two schools recognized by the National Association of Mobile Entertainers. Owner, DJ Kristin, has been exceeding client’s expectations with immaculate communication and articulation, directing the flow of special events and weddings for more than eight years, and she continues to rock every occasion.
DJ Kristin graduated with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Her career as a DJ, MC and Event Host 8 years ago where she learned the delicate ropes of pleasing brides and clients. In 2005, she was certified and became a member of the F.A.M.E Disc Jockey Training School, one of only two schools recognized by the National Association of Mobile Entertainers, by which she is a member.
I am chronically organized. I wear pink sparkly toms when I DJ (#ourdjrocksPinktoms on Instagram). I believe Journey is a wedding staple. My first concert was NKOTB when I was 5. I have a no chicken dance policy. My talent is my bubbly personality. I’m a sucker for pink peonies and mason jars. My photo booth prop of choice is my nerd sun-stache. Sunflares and romantic reception lighting is eye candy to me. My favorite indulgence is Nutella.
Some days I feel like superwoman. I dance like no one is watching. I am a hopeless... show more romantic.
